This policy explains what regimen (“regimen”) collects, how we use it, and your choices.

What we collect

  • Account — via our auth partner: email address, a handle, and avatar.
  • Profile — skin type, concerns, ingredient sensitivities, and bio you choose to add.
  • Activity — routines you build/publish, reviews, likes, routine check-ins, and progress notes.
  • Technical — standard request logs and cookies needed to run the site and keep you signed in.

How we use it

To provide and personalize the service (e.g. “for my skin” filtering and recommendations), to operate accounts, to keep the community safe, and — only if you opt in — to send the weekly digest and reminders.

Email & marketing

Marketing emails are opt-in only. You can unsubscribe via the link in any email (one-click) or in your profile preferences at any time. We don’t sell your email address.

Who we share with

We don’t sell your personal data. We use trusted processors to run the service: authentication (Clerk), database + hosting (Neon, Vercel), and email delivery (Resend). Product/ingredient data comes from Open Beauty Facts (ODbL). If affiliate links are enabled, clicking them may share standard referral data with the retailer/network. Each processor handles data under its own terms.

Your rights

You can view and edit your profile in-app, and request access, correction, or deletion of your data by emailing support@skinregime.app. If you’re in the EU/UK (GDPR) or California (CCPA/CPRA), you have additional rights including access, deletion, and to opt out of “sale”/“sharing” — note we do not sell personal information.

Retention, security & children

We keep your data while your account is active and as needed for legal/operational purposes, then delete or anonymize it. We use reasonable safeguards but no system is perfectly secure. The service isn’t directed to children under 16.
